SOUTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO. (KTVI) –People of all ages filled movie theaters Thursday for the opening of Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part II.

"I am so excited to see the finale," Jane Witt said. "I have read all the books and just love the movies."

Many theaters were showing all day Twilight marathons.

"It started in the morning," Witt said. "We can watch the first four movies and then the finale."

The film is expected to be a big hit at the box office.

Most showings at theaters in the St. Louis area were sold out.

"I got in line really early, so I was sure I'd get in the movie,' Witt said.

The movie is expected to reveal more about the vampires and werewolves that dominate the Twilight Saga.
