BALLWIN, MO (KTVI) – All eastbound traffic on Manchester Road was brought to a standstill Monday morning following a fatal collision in Ballwin.
The accident occurred around 7:11 a.m. at Manchester and Maple when a car when off the road and struck another vehicle waiting in the driveway of a Steak N Shake restaurant.
The driver of the struck vehicle, Kimberly Austill, 52, of Ballwin was transported to the hospital, but she died shortly after arrival. The driver and passengers of the striking vehicle suffered minor injuries.
Traffic was backed up to New Ballwin Road during morning rush hour.
