Motorcycle Crashes Kill Two Saturday Evening

(KTVI)-One person is dead following a motorcycle crash in Lebanon, IL Saturday evening.  Just before 5:30pm, Andrew J. Warner, a 23 year old from Troy IL, was traveling north on Madison Avenue in Lebanon when he struck a pickup truck that had slowed to make a turn.

Emergency crews attempted to take Warner to a St. Louis hospital by ARCH Helicopter but condition worsened and the flight was diverted to Anderson Hospital in Maryville where he was pronounced dead.

It is unknown if Warner was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The Lebanon Police Department continues to investigate the incident. Routine toxicology tests will be performed.

Another man was killed Saturday evening in a motorcycle accident, this one on Forest Park Parkway in St. Louis. Timothy Thomas, 25, apparently lost control of his bike east of Skinker Blvd. and hit a fence around 5:00pm. He was pronounced dead at the scene. There is no word on whether Thomas was wearing a helmet.
