FERGUSON, MO (KTVI- Ferguson small business owners will hold a news conference on Friday, November 21st. The community of small businesses and residents along West Florissant Avenue are calling for a peaceful response to the grand jury decision.
They say they are committed to those who choose to make their voices heard in a non-violent way.
But, they also want the community to stand against the allowing of violence and looting that happened in August.
Attorneys for several of the businesses will also join the small business owners. Residents of the community around West Florissant who frequent the small businesses will also be in attendance.
The news conference is scheduled for 10a.m. outside of Sam's Meat Market located at 9241 West Florissant Avenue.
