CEDAR HILL, MO (KTVI) – Jefferson County Fire and Hazmat crews spent their day cleaning up a petroleum leak caused by a one alarm fire at the Innerpoint Energy Company, the company specializes in renewable energy. Cedar Creek fire officials say the fire started at around 1pm and at least six surrounding fire departments assisted in putting out the fire. The Jefferson County crime scene unit, department of natural resources, Missouri State Fire Marshall, county hazmat and Homeland Security are all here on the scene.

Officials also say they contained the spill to prevent it from getting into the Big River and creeks nearby.
