ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Just after 8:15 pm 3 vehicles caught fire in a downtown St. Louis parking garage. The garage is located at 300 North Broadway, the Marquette building.

A family of says their car caught fire as they were parking in the garage.  They ran from the vehicle to safety.

Smoke and flames from the garage could be seen from adjacent buildings, with smoke being seen from as far away as a mile.

St. Louis Fire Department units arriving on scene had to haul equipment up the side of garage to the 7th floor to attack the fire.

The fire was extinguished by using foam to smother the flames and fuel vapor.
