ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – St. Louis city firefighters had their hands full this morning with a fire at an auto salvage yard on the city’s north side.

It started shortly before 3 a.m. at the Riverside Salvage Company on Humboldt Avenue near Hall Street. Several vehicles were on fire in the lot .

Firefighters used aerial equipment to put water on that fire. They called in a second aerial unit to help put out the fire.

There is no word on what caused the fire.

No one was injured.
