Fire damages Goody Goody Diner, iconic St. Louis breakfast spot

ST. LOUIS – An iconic St. Louis diner is closed indefinitely after a fire broke out Monday night.

Fire crews responded to Goody Goody Diner Restaurant located on at Goodfellow and Natural Bridge Road around 8:45 p.m.

There is extensive damage in the kitchen area which investigators believe the fire may have started.

The restaurant was closed at the time of the fire, the good news is that the building itself is intact.

Video footage from the St. Louis Fire Department shows extensive damage to the interior of the diner.

Goody Goody said it will close until further notice.
