Fire heavily damages two-story vacant building

ST. LOUIS, Mo. _Investigators are trying to determine what sparked a late-night fire at a vacant building in St. Louis city.  The blaze started just before 11 p.m. Wednesday on Grand Boulevard at Montgomery Street.

When firefighters arrived, heavy flames had spread through the first and second floors. It took fire crews less than an hour to control the blaze.

No one was injured.
