Flooding forces road closures across St. Louis area

BRENTWOOD, MO (KTVI) – Police are diverting traffic away from Hanley Road as both directions north of Manchester have been closed to commuters.

Hanley was closed due to flooding from the nearby Black Creek.

At least three cars became waterlogged when the drivers attempted to pass the flooded roadway.

Employees at the doggy daycare center Watering Bowl evacuated the animals as a precautionary measure. The dogs were relocated to another facility in town.

In Hazelwood, authorities there closed Aubuchon Road between Missouri Bottom and Teson roads.
