Food Stamp Robber Stabs Man 4 Times

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A man says he was stabbed by a robber looking for food stamps.  A man approached the victim in the 6100 block of  Martin Luther King On Thursday at around 11:50pm.  Police say he asked the victim for his food stamps.  The two got into a fight when the victim did not hand them over.

The victim was stabbed three times in his arm and once in his hand.  He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Police are looking for a black male who is about 165lbs, 5’9″ tall and 25-30 years old.
