Former Brooklyn police officer arrested for DUI

CASEYVILLE, IL. (KTVI) – A former Brooklyn, Illinois police officer is facing multiple charges, following his arrest today by Caseyville police.

Caseyville police say Harold Johnson was pulled over for a traffic violation, and identified himself as a Brooklyn officer with a loaded handgun in the car.

He was arrested for DUI and driving while his license was suspended.

Police later found out he had been fired from the Brooklyn Police Department.
