LADDONIA, MO (KPLR) - A weak "landspout" tornado touched down around 6:20 pm Tuesday in the small town of Laddonia, Missouri about 85 miles northwest of St. Louis in Audrain, County.

The tornado was captured on camera by Paula Smith Stafford.

It's called a landspout tornado because they form much like a waterspout, expect over land.

Landspout tornadoes are usually very weak with winds less than 70 mph.

This one did do some very minor damage to a small shed before dissipating.
