(KTVI) – The Fox school district is looking for a new board member after Cheryl Hermann quit the board after a panel rescinded a job offer to her daughter.
Our partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch report that Hermann claims the decision to take away a job offer to her daughter as a special needs aide was politically motivated.
The district has been hit by accusations of nepotism for other hiring decisions in recent years, but the post reports that Herman’s daughter, Sophia, was one of the top candidates for the job because of her experience.
Sophia Hermann was offered the post and then had it taken back September 9.
