FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – Hundreds of marchers rallied Sunday in support of finding the killer of 9-year-old Jamyla Bolden.  The Ferguson girl was shot and killed while doing her homework inside her home.  Her mother was also wounded but is recovering.

Retired school teacher Gail Delaney joined the rally.

“I’m tired of the violence,” said Delaney.  “Whoever did this to this young lady needs to step forward.  They need to be brought to justice.”

Grammy winning hip hop artist Travis “This’l” Tyler helped organize the rally.  He says the work to stop violence is only beginning.

“We want to help bring back community base leadership,” said Tyler.  He recalled the days when involved block committees reported any information that would help police catch criminals.

St. Louis radio personality Tammie Holland also helped organize the rally.  She called on everyone to put an end to the notion that snitching is a bad thing.  She pleaded for anyone with information in the case to contact CrimeStoppers at 1-866-771-TIPS (8477).  There is currently a $6,000 reward being offered for information that leads to the arrest of subject(s) responsible for the homicide of Bolden.
