Game 6 Tonight: Wacha to face Lackey in “Do-or-Die” game

(KTVI) – After plane problems kept the Cardinals grounded in St. Louis until late last night, the Red Birds finally arrived in Boston and are getting ready for Game 6 of the World Series.

Michael Wacha will take the mound for the Cardinals at Fenway park tonight. Wacha could become the first player in Major League history with five wins in the post-season.

Boston right-hander John Lackey will pitch for the Red Sox.

The  Red Sox are one game ahead in the Series 3 to 2.   The Cardinals need to win Game 6 to force a Game 7 Thursday night for their chance to once again become the World Series champions.

Coverage starts at 6 p.m. on FOX 2.  Game 6 starts at 7:00 p.m. CT.
