BRIDGETON, MO (KTVI) – The annual Geison family Christmas dinner will have no dinner, this year. Last minute changes forced Frank and Joan Geison to move the charity event to a new location, one where there is no kitchen. They’ve been gathering food, toys, and merchandise to give away Saturday.
These are people who depend on their faith in God to provide what they need to help thousands of others. But something always happens to thwart their plans at the last minute. This year is no exception.
Joan found out two days ago they could not have their dinner at the location they were planning. So they had to move. Still, they have continued to collect food, clothing, and toys for some of the thousands of people who will show up Saturday at 9:00am.
Joan and Frank Gieson have been helping people for nearly 60 years. They still need toys for older kids. How many? 4,000.
