GLENDALE, MO (KTVI) –  Police suspended an officer last week for comments he made on Facebook. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that he was suspended after saying Ferguson protesters were “a burden on society and a blight on the community.”

The Glendale Police Department reports Pappert is no longer employed by the city.  Details of the internal investigation are closed personnel records. They say his comments are absolutely not the views or opinions of the department or the city.
