ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – Several activities are planned this weekend in Ferguson, as the area marks one year since the shooting death of Michael Brown.  Tuesday Governor Nixon, who was criticized for his handling of the crisis last year, was asked about the states readiness this time around. The governor replied the state has consulted with area police departments and a plan is in place that would make the state police available to help if needed.
