O’FALLON, IL (KTVI) - Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner was in the metro east Monday to discuss growing jobs in the area. Governor Rauner met with a group of business leaders and elected officials.

The purpose of the summit was to highlight job growth and industries in southwestern Illinois, which is the second largest population center after Chicago. The governor discussed among many things, Scott Air Force Base, bringing in a National Geospatial Agency and freight growth opportunities.
