PERRYVILLE, Mo. – Monday, March 29 is National Vietnam War Veterans Day.
There were over 58,000 U.S. military casualties during the war and 1,400 of them were Missourians. Over 30 Missourians are still considered Missing in Action.
“To all the veterans and their families still here with us today – we will continue to honor your service, sacrifice, and courage,” Governor Mike Parson said. “You will never be forgotten.”
Parson posted a tribute to the veterans of the Vietnam War on Facebook.
