Giant Hail Damages Cars, Homes In Maryland Heights

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI)-In northwest St. Louis County, “monster-sized” hail crashed through building windows and car windshields by the dozens around 6:00pm. Maryland Heights, including Westport Plaza, really got walloped. A McDonald’s worker is being called a hero because she huddled everyone in the cooler of the restaurant as the storms rolled overhead.
