(KTVI) – The Macintosh computer turns 30 on Friday. Steve Jobs introduced the first Apple Macintosh on January 24, 1984.
The computer first appeared in a commercial that aired during Super Bowl 18. It had a 19-inch screen and costs $2,500.
In celebration of it the anniversary, Apple turned the Apple.com homepage into a “Thirty Years of Mac” micro site. The site has a video detailing the evolution of the Macintosh and also asks users to tell the story of their first Mac.
