ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – St. Louisan Larry Bond is a heart transplant recipient and knows the struggles families go through while waiting for an organ donor. Wednesday he dedicated an apartment complex to families who need a place to stay while they support loved ones.  Barnes Jewish Hospital is the largest heart transplant hospital in the region, so many families from many miles away need a place to stay while they support loved ones who are getting transplants.

Bond started Foundation 4-Life and along with the Heart Transplant Association and other organizations, they now offer free to low cost living for families at 2727 Hampton.
