Herculaneum residents nervous over rising waters

HERCULANEUM, MO (KTVI) -Herculaneum residents are nervously watching the rising Mississippi River, which flows along its eastern border. It is nearly 10 feet above flood stage and is expected to crest Sunday in St. Louis and Monday in Chester. That on top of Joachim Creek, which filled up with the recent heavy rains and can’t empty into the nearby Mississippi.

FOX2 multi-media journalist Wade Smith spent the day in Herculaneum to see residents spending their time nervously watching Joachim Creek and the Mississippi River.
