ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - An anonymous donor is turning St. Louis into a modern-day treasure hunt.

The "Hidden Cash" craze hit California last week. Now, a social media campaign called "HiddenCash314" is doing the same scavenger hunt in Missouri. They say that they are dropping envelopes of cash in several secret locations around St. Louis.

The account posted a picture of an envelope behind a bench on Sunday in St. Louis County. The clue posted to Twitter was, "Creve Coeur Lake by the boating dock - hint us flag pole."

Several hours later they named a winner through a post to Twitter , "Winner @ChrisHeckSTL congrats!"

The account started giving more hints that they were going to make another cash drop on Monday.  Clues posted to Facebook and Twitter hinted at a place with a lot of green and birds chirping.  The location of the money was finally revealed. An envelope of cash was dropped in Shaw park.  A map to the money was eventually posted and someone picked it up.

The Twitter account is one of the top trends in St. Louis. People are looking for clues to the next drop in the scavenger hunt. Follow @HiddenCash314 on Twitter for the next clue.  They are also giving  clues on Facebook.

Good luck.
