MEADOWBROOK, MO (KTVI)– A Fort Russell Township Highway Department employee died on a work site after being struck by one of the department’s truck.
According to Madison County Coroner Stephen P. Nonn, 62-year-old Dennis D. Goebel, from Dorsey, Illinois, was with a township highway department crew performing culvert repair at Maple Street and Oak Drive in the community of Meadowbrook (east of Bethalto).
