ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- Mild weather here in the Midwest should make traveling this Thanksgiving holiday a breeze. More folks are turning to train travel to help avoid some of the expected hassles of travel by air and car.

For long distance trips flying may be the only choice, even though you are limited on what you can bring.

On Wednesday air travelers in the Midwest found fog greeting them in the early morning hours, but that's gone and most flights are back running on time.

Train traffic is gaining popularity, for many folks it presents fewer hassles.
