EUREKA, MO (KTVI) – Flood waters have knocked at least one home off its foundation. The structure could be seen floating down the Meramec river south of Eureka, east of 109.

The Fire Department has rescued a man sitting on his roof of another home with his dog in the flooded river.  The man was rescued safely by emergency responders.

The man was taken to the hospital and is possibly being treated for hypothermia. He tells emergency responders that he was on top of the home all night long.
