Body found in western Missouri after search for girl

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The Missouri Highway Patrol confirmed reports that a body was found Wednesday afternoon, and although they would not confirm it is Adriaunna Horton.  Her father, James Horton, told reporters in Golden City, Mo. that she had been found and was not alive. One of Horton’s grandmothers also told FOX 4′s Robert Townsend that the body found was Adriaunna’s.


Adriaunna Horton was last seen playing with a friend in a park in Golden City, Missouri. That’s about an hour west of Springfield.

Police have arrested and charged Bobby Bourne with kidnapping.  But, the girl was not with him when he was arrested.

Adriaunna’s father says Bourne worked for him on a construction site, last summer.
