Hundreds of homes damaged by western Missouri tornado

ORRICK, MO (WDAF) – A tornado damaged hundreds of home in a small Missorui town Saturday afternoon.  Police said that no one was hurt, but the damage to Orrick, MO, a suburb of Kansas City, was extensive.

Highway patrol says 80 percent of the town was wiped out, 200 to 300 homes destroyed, the roof blown off the school, all in a matter of minutes.

Highway patrol, police and fire were asking people to stay away on Saturday evening due to the dangerous situation.
