(KTVI) - IDOT and Illinois State Police are teaming up to keep drivers safe this holiday.

They’ve launched the end of the year, "Drive To Survive" campaign.

State troopers and hundreds of law enforcement agencies will be patrolling, pulling over drunk or impaired drivers and those that aren't buckled up.

Drivers on the roads between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am will be the main targets, which is also peak time for fatal crashes.
