IDOT to replace bridge near Pierron IL.

PIERRON, IL. (KTVI) – The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced that starting on Tuesday, October 1st, construction will begin to replace a bridge that takes Route 143 over Sugar Creek. Traffic on the bridge will be reduced to one lane to facilitate construction.

Traffic signals will be installed to direct motorist over the bridge.

The work on the bridge is slate to be completed by the summer of 2014.
