(KTVI) – The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced they will be performing road resurfacing work on I-55 between mile markers 31 and 34, starting Tuesday, Sept. 3.
One lane of the interstate will be closed to traffic in both directions for 3 weeks for the resurfacing.
Flaggers will be used to move traffic through the work zone, drivers should expect delays.
The project is expected to be completed by November 2013.
