Illinois launches new ‘Time for Me to Drive’ tourism campaign

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Illinois has a new tourism campaign to attract visitors back into the state. It’s called “Time for Me to Drive.”

Ads will run in seven states starting this week.

State officials said visitor spending was cut in half last year. This year the museums, hotels, and businesses are in desperate need of a financial boost.
