RIVERFRONT ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) - Chad Pregracke a native of East Moline, IL. started his career on the water as a clam digger at the age of sixteen., by his seventeenth birthday his journey to clean the Mississippi River began.

Chad started with one jon boat and one volunteer, himself.  The following year he recruited six volunteers to help him start in Saint Louis and work the river north.  Fifteen years later Chad and countless volunteers have pulled over eight million tons of debris from waterways across the US.
