Illinois video gaming suspended amid COVID-19 health crisis

The Illinois Gaming Board has ordered that all video gaming operations be suspended due to the COVID-19 public health crisis.

“The public health of patrons, video gaming industry employees, Gaming Board staff, and all others is of paramount importance,” officials said in a release.

Video gaming will be suspended starting at 9:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16 and lasting through March 30, 2020.
