MADISON COUNTY, Ill. – The Bethalto School District canceled classes Friday. It’s using an emergency day because of what it calls a disruption.
Some parents plan to attend an “unmask our kids” rally at 6:45 a.m. near Civic Memorial High School and the school district headquarters. The district called off classes over worries about student safety.
The board has planned a special meeting on Monday to discuss its mask mandate.
