EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. – A duplex in East St. Louis, Illinois was damaged by a fire early Wednesday morning.

That fire started just before 4:00 a.m. on 22nd Street at MLK.

There were heavy flames when firefighters arrived.

The building was vacant. No word yet on what caused the fire.
