ALTON, Ill. – Kids at Alton High School are learning from home Tuesday while the staff is trained on a new security feature.
Metal detectors were installed at the school this weekend.
According to the school district superintendent, the metal detectors were ordered last spring, just came in, and were not in response to recent fights on campus.
