PARK HILLS, MO. (KTVI) –
It was a somber day as family and friends who gathered at Ester Baptist church in Park Hills to say goodbye to Jacque Sue Rawson -Waller. On Saturday, flowers, hugs and tears and filled the church packed with hundreds of mourners.
The 39-year-old -mother of three was murdered on June 1, 2011 by her estranged husband Clay Waller in Cape Girardeau County, Mo. Her body was found by investigators two years later.
The Rawson family sat side by side along with 7-year-old triplets Avery, Maddox and Addison as they try to make sense of the tragic death of their mother. Longtime family friends like Reverend Vernon Long said “You may not have your mother with you but let me tell you love continues on when were gone.”
Blye Galemore was friends with Jacque Waller for more than 16 years and says her friend did everything she could to make others smile.
“From the backside you couldn’t tell she was pregnant, but was she turned to the side it looked like she had her own school bus. Jacque was playful, fun kindhearted. She was loving and lovable.” said Galemore
Others shared their thoughts and prayers with the triplets. Family members also thanked everyone who helped in the two–year investigation and search.
“I leave you now for a little while for a home that awaits us all. Cry not out of sadness but, rejoice that what was lost has been found.” Said Reverend Cody Alley
Now the Rawson’s and all of those who stood by their side feel they can find some degree of comfort.
“She was classy and mischievous this is why I called her my friend. Jacque you were one of a kind and will always be cherished for the wonderful memories and laughter we shared.” Said Galemore
