ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Drivers were forced to seek an alternate route Tuesday morning after a tractor trailer jackknifed on eastbound Interstate 44, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
The exact circumstances surrounding the accident have not been cleared.
Traffic was only able to get by via the shoulder. All the lanes were reopened by 11:20 a.m.
