The Missouri legislature comes back into session September 6th. They'll consider the fate of the proposed China cargo hub at Lambert. They'll decide if St. Louis gets control of its own police force. And they could get rid of some tax credits that helped re-develop St. Louis. Charles takes an look at the special legislative session called by Governor Nixon.

Also, a Missouri judge has blocked a law from taking effect that would have prohibited teachers from using social networking sites such as Facebook to carry on private conversations with students. Cole County Circuit Judge Jon Beetem issued a preliminary injunction against the law Friday while declaring that it "would have a chilling effect" on free speech rights. The judge put the law on hold until Feb. 20, allowing time for a hearing on whether the law should be permanently blocked. Charles takes a look at the proposed new law.
