SOUTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) - Kickball for a cause Friday night as the Big Balls Kickball League tried to break the world record for the longest game played. The record currently stands at 51 hours and if you any doubt that these players won’t break that record, just ask the team members.

Players have been collecting pledges. All of the money raised from the game will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.

The rules of the record require all players to remain at the fields for the entire game, so overnight park security at Jefferson Barracks Park kept an eye on the players.
