ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- How does a parent cope with cabin fever?

For some, it’s a trip to Art Hill in Forest Park. The St. Charles County Parks and Recreation Department had something for kids to do.

It's an exhilarating ride whether you are racing down hill on your own power heading back up hill thanks to some parent power.

Kids of all ages participated in the St. Charles County Parks Department's first ever Snow Day event at Quail Ridge Park in Wentzville.

Nine-year-old Natalie Lovell is following in her mother's snow tracks riding this ski sled.

Even some teens showed up for the organized games.

One of the activities was supposed to be snowman building but the snow was so dry you can`t even make a snow ball.
