RICHMOND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI)- Know Before You Go: MoDOT is closing a section of southbound I-170 this weekend. All lanes and ramps of southbound I-170 between Forest Park Parkway and I-64 will be closed starting at 8:00pm Friday. There will be no access to eastbound and westbound I-64, Brentwood Boulevard or Eager Road from southbound I-170.
Crews will be completing preventative bridge maintenance along that stretch of I-170.
Drivers wanting to head west on I-64 should take westbound I-70 to southbound I-270. Drivers heading east on I-64 can take Forest Park Parkway to Big Bend to eastbound I-64. Shoppers hoping to get to the popular Galleria mall, along with The Boulevard shopping area and the Brentwood Promenade should allow for more traffic on side roads in the area.
All lanes and ramps will reopen by 5:00am Monday, September 15.
