LADUE, MO (KTVI) - A string of construction site thefts has police asking for help. The latest thefts occurred in Ladue during the past month. Police say three different sites involving new home construction have been hit by thieves looking for equipment and tools.

Ladue Police Sgt. Ray Hahs wants the public to be alerted about the thefts so they can help. The Ladue thefts have all happened on weekends.

“If you see any suspicious activity near these construction sites, if you see people there that probably shouldn’t be there during off times, give us a call,” Sgt. Hahs said.

Hahs said other area municipalities have also seen similar thefts. Fox 2 News has reported on thefts earlier this year in Maryland Heights and St. Ann.

Hahs said his investigators would also like to hear from anyone aware of anyone who suddenly came into possession of large amounts of tools.
