ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Spirit Airlines will begin flying out of St. Louis soon. The airline will start beginning flights to five locations beginning this May. The destinations from St. Louis Lambert Airport include Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Pensacola, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. Tickets for flights start at $60.

“Known for its robust network and competitive fares Spirit will be a stellar addition to our airport and for travelers across the region. Prior to COVID-19 our airport was having one of its best years ever but the pandemic was hard on us. But, here we are just one year later celebrating with a new service from st. Louis,” said Mayor Lyda Krewson.

St. Louis is the seventh new city added to Spirit’s network in the past year. Last month, the carrier announced that they are adding new planes. This makes its fleet among the youngest in the industry.
