Large police presence at Cliff Cave Park is connected to Amber Alert

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI)- There is a heavy police presence at Cliff Cave Park in south St. Louis County on Saturday night.  St. Louis County Police have yet to release much information, but they confirm the police activity is related to an Amber Alert issued earlier in the evening.

Witnesses tell FOX 2 that police cars and helicopters descended on the park around 8:00pm Saturday. Gunshots were heard.  At least one person was taken away in an ambulance.

An Amber Alert was issued around 7:00pm for the abduction of five-year old Ethan, and four-year old Owen Cadenbach.  The suspect was believed to be the boys’ father, Christopher Cadenbach, 43. Around 9:00pm Saturday that alert was canceled. Police just stated that the suspect and children had been found.

The park is about ten minutes away from where the boys were abducted  in the 300 block of Rauhut Avenue
