A lightning strike hit a home in University City Sunday night at Stafford and Hanley Road. The damage was electrical.  There are no injures to report.

The heaviest wave of rain shot through St. Louis in a hurry just before  8 p.m. Sunday  night. Water soaked the parking lots throughout the area.  We had a report from the St. Peters area  that parts of a tree blown into a house.

The heavy stuff lasted for about five minutes and then it moved out. But there have been waves of rain since after  5 p.m. throughout the area. Most of the power outages are in St. Louis County .
